Seeburg Jukebox Photo Shoot

Last month, my Dad asked me to do a photo shoot of him and his writing partner. They published their own book titled "Where Have All the Pop Stars Gone?" We drove to my Dad's friend's home, who has restored a few jukeboxes. We photographed some portraits with the jukebox that was the same model from the TV show "Happy Days."  We had a blast shooting and I got carried away doing detail shots of the jukeboxes and a sweet microphone. Hello! It's been awhile since I last updated my blog. I have had a busy summer so far with my kids. They have been in swim class, tumbling and clay class. I wanted to share with you this album that I designed for Andy and Allison. They were married in Chico on May 7, 2011. I had the wonderful honor of photographing their wedding day. I throughly enjoyed being their photographer. Andy and Allison were so easy-going and very fun to photograph. It was a very tranquil and beautiful day. They had so much love and support from their family and friends. After the wedding, everyone enjoyed each and everyone's company. It was a very sweet wedding. Sprinter 2011

Yesterday it snowed here in Chester. It's the middle of May and this morning there was a good 3-6 inches of snow on the ground. I snapped some pictures of the snow on the flowers in our front yard. You just don't see snow on beautiful spring flowers too often.

City of Davis Bridal Faire

Hey There! On April 23, 2011, the City of Davis is having a Bridal Faire.  I am very excited about this because it will be my first time as a vendor at a bridal faire!  Here's a link about the Bridal Faire. Baby Tanner

A few weeks ago, I photographed my husband's counsin's baby. Baby Tanner James Reed was born February 3, 2011 in San Luis Obispo, CA. We were able to go down to Santa Maria and visit Jerick's cousin, Ashley, and her husband, Kevin, and see their precious baby boy.  I almost forgot what it's like to hold a sweet little newborn in my arms. Time definitely flies by too fast and now my babies are 6 1/2 years old and 2 years old.  I loved that peaceful moment when just before Baby Tanner fell asleep in my arms, watching his eyelids get heavier and heavier, and I thought about the times I would watch my babies fall asleep so warmly in my arms.  It made me miss when my babies WERE babies.  I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Ashley and Kevin's baby boy while he was wide awake.  I photographed quickly and would have loved more time, but I'm happy with the sweet moments I captured. Jamie and Alisha

I had the honor of photographing a beautiful wedding on the 11th of September in Chico, CA. The event took place at The Palms, with gorgeous gardens, waterfalls and water fountains, palapas, koi ponds, it was AMAZING! I had the opportunity to photograph the their engagement portraits, the bride's bridal shower, and the couple's rehearsal and dinner, and of course their wedding day. It was a beautiful day for Jamie and Alisha. Jamie and Alisha have been sweethearts for a very long time, growing up together in their hometown of Chester, CA. The couple looked incredibly thrilled to start their new journey together. My favorite part of their wedding day was seeing both Alisha and Jamie’s faces when Alisha came down the aisle. They were glowing with happiness and smiles. This was such a well-organized wedding and everything went so smoothly. The mood was tranquil yet there was excitement in the air. The girls were very beautiful and fun to photograph, and the boys were extremely animated. There was so much support and love for Alisha and Jamie from all of their family and friends. I had such a blast photographing their very special day. I feel very blessed to have photographed all these wonderful events for them. Just last year, I photographed Jamie's grandmother's wedding. So as you can imagine, I was touched when Jamie and Alisha asked me to be their photographer. Here's a slideshow of their amazing wedding story. Lindsey and Ivan's Wedding

Here's a slideshow of images from my friend's, Lindsey and Ivan's wedding. The happy couple got married Saturday June 26, 2010. The ceremony took place in the beautiful Rose Garden in McKinley Park in Sacramento and the reception was at the couple's roof top terrace. They celebrated their special day with their close family and friends. I had an awesome day with Lindsey and Ivan, I had so much fun photographing their wedding day.
