We moved!!

Greetings!
It's been a busy last few months, and I have completely neglected my blog. I had a busy wedding season, while balancing the daily duties of being a mother and a wife. I am very thankful for the wonderful couples who chose me to photograph their weddings this year. I appreciate you all giving me the opportunity to photograph your special moments of your wedding day. While wrapping up my images and orders for the wedding season, my husband received a job promotion mid November. He accepted his new position with the US Forest Service as Captain on Santa Ynez Flight Crew. I am very proud of him!!! As we were anticipating our move, we had to get our house in Chester ready for our move. We down sized as much as we could, donating our old clothes, some furniture, toys, and yes, I passed on all my baby goodies to one of my close friends. It's been hectic getting ready for a move during the holiday season, but we did it. This last Thursday, we arrived to our new home in Buellton, CA. We celebrated Christmas this morning with boxes put aside for the time being.
I hope to update my blog even more deeply by posting some images from this year's wedding season. I did add some new images already to my website. On January 14, 2012, I will be a vendor at the Davis Bridal Show in Davis, CA. I am very excited about the bridal show and being able to meet some new couples and network with other vendors. Even though we moved from Northern California, I am still readily available to photograph weddings there, I enjoy traveling!!
Many happy holiday blessings to you and a happy and very healthy 2012!

Jon and Joanna

Hi All! I just got home today from an amazing weekend in my hometown of Davis. I had the fabulous honor of photographing one of my dear friend's wedding on Saturday. My friend, Joanna, and I have known each other for many years. We dance ballet together in Applegate Dance Company. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding. And on Saturday, was able to photograph her wedding to her sweetheart for over 10 years now. I love Joanna and Jon, they have blossomed beautifully over the years. They are a warm and kind loving couple, and I am so very happy for my friends :)
On Sunday, my brother and I surprised my parent's with a 40th Anniversary party with about 25 of their friends and family. They had no idea! I loved the surprised look on my Dad's face when he saw everyone! I had been working hard designing their party invitation, ordering decorations, designing their guestbook made from their wedding images and images of them and our family throughout their 40 amazing years of marriage, I created a slideshow montage as well and there was barely a dry eye in the house! What an amazing a blessed weekend! Truly wonderful!
Here's a sneak peak of a few images from Jon and Joanna's wedding.
Enjoy :)

Seeburg Jukebox Photo Shoot

Last month, my Dad asked me to do a photo shoot of him and his writing partner. They published their own book titled "Where Have All the Pop Stars Gone?" We drove to my Dad's friend's home, who has restored a few jukeboxes. We photographed some portraits with the jukebox that was the same model from the TV show "Happy Days."  We had a blast shooting and I got carried away doing detail shots of the jukeboxes and a sweet microphone. Enjoy!

Where Have All the Pop Stars Gone?

Andy and Allison

Hello! It's been awhile since I last updated my blog. I have had a busy summer so far with my kids. They have been in swim class, tumbling and clay class. I wanted to share with you this album that I designed for Andy and Allison. They were married in Chico on May 7, 2011. I had the wonderful honor of photographing their wedding day. I throughly enjoyed being their photographer. Andy and Allison were so easy-going and very fun to photograph. It was a very tranquil and beautiful day. They had so much love and support from their family and friends. After the wedding, everyone enjoyed each and everyone's company. It was a very sweet wedding. Here are some proofs from their wedding album. I can't wait for Andy and Allison to get their wedding album :) Enjoy!
